Hi family and friends! This is my travel blog while I am studying abroad in Amman, Jordan this summer. The title is pronounced "in shah Allah" and translates to "God Willing." This commonly used phrase indicates the desire to succeed in a future task or endeavor. For example -- I hope that I improve my Arabic this summer, إن شاء الله. These next two months are going to be a wild ride for me, and I am happy that I get the opportunity to let you all know that I am alive and having fun.

جزار
The butcher جزار (jazzaar) taught us the names of the different parts of the lamb خروف (kharoof) that are eaten....including brains, tongue, and kidney.
